This earthquake was associated with rockfalls and minor collapses along the walls of Kilauea crater occurring around 8:53PM Sunday, July 22, 2018 local time. Clouds of dust were observed above the crater rim. The magnitude was initially reported at 5.5 and was revised to 5.3.
