The computations for these maps and data used 50 year return periods on firm rock at 760 m/s. All of the maps were prepared by combining hazard derived from spatially-smoothed historic seismicity with hazard from fault-specific sources.
Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands
The most recent probabilistic seismic hazard assessment for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Island were completed in 2003. Included are the maps and data results of this study. Although the source code is currently unavailable, the maps and data are available for download.
