9am – 5pm (doors open at 8am)

We invite you to a celebration of the life and work of Tom Hanks. Let’s come together to share some of Tom’s scientific contributions as well as share memories and stories from our time together. If you have ideas for topics or ideas to share, please contact us.

In addition to our full program, we will have space at the symposium for people to share photos and written remembrances, in both physical and digital format. If you have any memories or mementos to share, please upload digital material, or bring physical/printed material to the symposium. Digital material will either be printed and displayed or used in the slideshow (without sound). We will also have memory cards available on October 17, on which you can write a story or memory, to be pinned on the display boards.

Doors will open at 8am, and a Social Happy Hour will follow the program after 5 o’clock in the Building 3 Space Bar.

NOTE: In-person attendance is encouraged due to limited web streaming services.

Registration

We are still accepting registrations and walk-ins are also ok, but please RSVP ASAP so we can get an accurate headcount.
