Comments
Kelsey and Bockheim (1994) calculated a vertical slip rate of about 0.5 mm/yr across the Whaleshead fault zone since 125 ka, and a left-lateral strike-slip rate of approximately 2.5 mm/yr since roughly 200 ka. The assigned slip rate represents the oblique rate from the published vertical and horizontal slip rates.
