The assigned slip rate is reduced to 0.1 mm/yr based on the lack of evidence pointing to multiple latest Pleistocene surface-rupturing events. Mapping by Dohrenwend and others (1991) indicates that the youngest scarps formed in the late Pleistocene (<130 ka).
