Meeting Goal

The USGS Earthquake Hazards Program is co-hosting this workshop with CERI and the West Tennessee Seismic Safety Commission at the University of Memphis to encourage communication, review research efforts, and seek guidance on future research priorities to achieve our scientific goals in the Central and Eastern U.S (CEUS). Here is a suggested read-ahead for the meeting: Meeting for the Central and Eastern United States (CEUS) Earthquake Hazards Program—October 28–29, 2009

All researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts and present a poster on their work related to the seismic hazards and risk in the CEUS. The workshop is open to anyone in the scientific community interested in better defining earthquake hazards and risk in the CEUS.

Please send your abstracts in SSA/AGU style (Word doc with title, authors, affiliations and 300-500 abstract text, single space) to Robert Williams by Friday Feb 14.

Registration: Please let us know you’re coming by sending an email to Robert Williams by Friday Feb 7.
