Results: Models

As described in the method section, we perform a multi-step inversion procedure. The final result is a model of three-dimensional shear velocity perturbations. The 3-D model uses cells for the lateral parameterization and layers for the vertical parameterization. The layers span the depth ranges:

  1. 25-100 km
  2. 100-200 km
  3. 200-300 km

Viewing all three layers together is a nice way to see the changes, as a function of depth, in the model.
