Resolution:
- good lateral resolution for continental US, Mexico, and Gulf of Mexico.
- limited depth resolution
Most prominent feature is the fast/slow contrast between eastern and western continental US.
Smaller features:
- Yellowstone-Snake River Plain.
- sharp changes in structure (east-west strike) at Mendocino and Rivera triple junctions.
- fast structure beneath Yucatan Peninsula.
- Trans-Mexican Volcanic belt (200-300 km depth).
- possible slow feature, SE US coast (200-300 km depth).
