GTSN type systems
The stations with configurations from Table B with a couple exceptions are from the Global Telemetered Seismic Network (GTSN) and the Terrascope (TS) networks. These stations derive the available channels in a manner distinctly different from the IRIS/USGS stations.
The GTSN stations are scheduled to begin the upgrade to Multishear software in August, 1998. This upgrade will, among other things, correct the timing problem and provide a bit flag within each data packet to document the timing correction.
