The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred aproximately 200 km (125 miles) ENE of NUKU'ALOFA, Tonga or 2130 km (1320 miles) NE of Auckland, New Zealand at 3:19 PM MDT, Jun 26, 2008 (Jun 27 at 10:19 AM local time in Tonga). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage at this time.
