Seismo-volcanic Swarm on Hierro, Canary Islands

An energetic swarm of earthquakes, most below M 3, has been occurring on the island of Hierro, in the Canary Islands, Spain. The earthquakes in this swarm are too small to be accurately located using the USGS global network of seismometers but are being detected by a local seismic network operated by Spain's Instituto Geografico Nacional (IGN).
