The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred about 205 km (125 miles) WSW of HAGATNA, Guam or about 405 km (250 miles) SW of SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands at 3:51 PM MDT, May 9, 2008 (May 10 at 7:51 AM local time in Guam). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage.
Felt (IV) at Barrigada, Hagatna, Santa Rita, Tamuning and Yigo. Felt at Agat. Felt (II) on Saipan and also felt on Tinian, Northern Mariana Islands.
