The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred about 345 km (215 miles) SSE of HAGATNA, Guam or about 520 km (325 miles) S of SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands at 8:08 PM MDT, Sep 29, 2007 (Sep 30 at 12:08 PM local time in Mariana Islands). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage.
